With fun comes work and moreover the main objective of the trip was to interact with their uni students. Every or at least the 4 universities I visited have multiple campuses. The demand is so high that they have to expand and most of their undergraduates are housed on another island away from the city campus. And there is even a University Island where there are 10 universities on that island and by walking along the circumference you would have pass by 10 unis. How cool is that. It is practically like a mini Singapore on its own. All their universities are HUGE and beautiful scenery but the travelling distance between hostels and school is like Can A to Can B and even more.

This is the view from the Admin building of Xiamen Uni. Huge right.

This is a lake in their campus. Compare this to the lake we have in our uni and you will know the difference between lake and pond.

Top down view of one part of their campus. Huge field, swimmingpool etc.

The entrance of another Xiamen Uni campus.

We went cycling around this area....looks like our ecp but much prettier.
Then we played golf. There is a golf course on campus and their students are taught golf. How cool!

After all the fun... we had to pick up all the golf balls ourselves!! So tiring!! So many to pick.

Onboard a ferry to another island for sight-seeing. It cost 1 yuan if you can to go up to the upper deck. We went up anyway..coz its onli SGD 0.20.

This is the island we are heading to. Gu Lang Yu Dao. The place where I ended up sunburnt!

We walked and walked and walked somemore around the island where it is scorching hot and everyone has a grumpy face and all the umbrellas come out and the fans as well. You don't see many ppl using umbrella in singapore do you? Our destination is that rock!

Finally we reached the cable car station! Nice view...

This is the view from the top of that rock. Very densly populated but at least these are low buildings..wait till you see those tall ones...totally block out any view.

And this is the view of another side of the island. Saw those speecboats? We went on them!! Only 130 yuan for 6 person. We went around the island la... nice ride.. so breezy and fun!

Then it comes to the separation part... We are heading next to Hangzhou. This guy is known as Cong Cong... haha.. very cute.. he is shy when we call him Cong Cong when his name is Wang Cong.

This is another of our Xiamen friend, Yun Yao.
That's all for now. Took a long long time to put up all these phoots. *sweat*
