Life is really unpredictable yet predictable to a certain extent. I do not believe that my life is in my own hands entirelly as I certainly do not have the capability to determine the my whole life but yet to a certain degree I can steer it to the direction I want it to go. I would say life is like a cross junction, there are multiple roads ahead of you, so you choose a route to take. After you choose, it sort of just fall into place as the road will stretch on and you simply drive on until you come to the next junction. So life is a mix of fate and decisions.
One particularly interesting thing I noticed is that there are a handful of classmates of schoolmates who were either never in the uniform group or never in the blue uniform but now is in the blue uniform and are at officer level. How's that. Its a mircale how life of some people turns out right? Some are those who looks totally soft and wouldn't possibly be interested in being the 'men in blue' yet they are. Some used to be the man in green or men in another blue (if you get what I mean) and now they are all part of the national man in blue. Yet those who seem to have a higher possibility of becoming one in the past never did continue to be the man in blue.
Sometimes I would also like to know why didn't I go into the 'blue uniform' profession. By all means, if I were to be one, it shouldn't be a surprise right. I'm not sure why I didn't. I didn't intentionally not join the force. I wouldn't say I am very keen to join either. So I guess I can only conclude that it is just not the choice I made when I was at that junction.

The past few days had been hectic, rushing here and there to settle this and that for both my exchange trip. I'll be flying off next Tuesday and tomorrow is the only free day that I have to settle whatever shopping I have to do before Tuesday.
