I went to town around 11am and went home with $300+ worth of stuff around 8pm. My legs are breaking from all the walking and my arms are aching from carrying those shopping bags. I seldom do shopping unlike some girls who always go shopping every weekend or every month but each shopping trip I embarked on will never fail to emphasize why I do not shop on a regular basis. Beside the fact that the cash reserve is low, it is also b'coz of the sheer amount of mental and physical strength that has to be inputed. Shopping is a tiring!! So actually a tai-tai is not easy too. lolx. Now I know why girls always like to drag their bf or husband to go shopping with them although guys generally don't like to shop for extended period of time. With their guy with them, they can simply try on the clothes, pay and hand over the shopping bag to the guy. Sometimes can even skip the paying part, just try the clothes and toss hair and walk out. Not that payment is not needed, but the guy will pay la. Now, tai-tai seems to have easy life hor? They spend their husband's money and sure can get their maid or maybe even personal stylist to shop with them and usually these people will carry their shopping bags la. Ok, I'm contradicting myself. Now back to the first point of my post.
I spend so much on shopping can you believe it!!?? I cannot la. I never spend so much on shopping at one go before. Faint... Fainting... Fainted. Let's see what are my haul for today........

- 1 green top
- 3 pairs of socks
- 1 handbag

- 1 pair of shoe
- 3/4 pants
- Blusher and eyebrown powder
- Some souvenirs for China trip
To be truthful, I didn't pay $300+ la.. I had a 100 bucks Esprit voucher which I spent on the first 3 items and the bag was courtesy of Miss Cheng. Thanks!! =) Initially I was 'arguing' with her over 2 bags la... coz I liked the 1 while she like the other. I actually had decided to get the bag but decided to try the shirt first. But while I was in the changing room trying on my clothes she went quietly to buy the bag for me as my bdae prezzie! I did not realized it, although I know she was carrying a plastic bag in her hand, until she handed it to me. Lolx... so with extra money..I got another top and the socks since I need them anyway. Then the pair of shoe was bought coz of the China trip la... I didn't wear shoe ever since I left sec school but we are not allowed to wear slippers or sandals for this trip so no choice.
As for the cosmetics, it was due to a 40% discount voucher my mum gave me. I only wanted to get the eyebrown powder but the dumb thing about this voucher is that although it has 3 portions (coloured products, cosmetic accessory and skin care) where 40% applies for you, you cannot use them separately. So to use them just for a $20 item seems not worth it and the salesgirl ask me to get more things but I really don't want to spend more money after spending so much and I don't need need to get more cosmetics since I have all the basics and I don't see myself slapping on many colours on my face, so I just got a blusher since I've always been 'stealing' my mum's when I need it. haha... And not forgetting the $30 worth of souvenirs. Ya so there you are... $160+ is the sum payable. So alot for a shopping trip, by my standard.
Now, are clothes getting more expensive or have I not done shopping for a long time that I'm rather surprised by the price of some clothes. A simple plain top cost at least $30 these days. But I do agree that for shirts and pants... those office wear, it is more worth it to invest in more expensive ones coz their cutting are more flatering and the material are better.
Luckily my mum was in her room when I reached home and I managed to smuggle in all my shopping stuff and dump them into my cupboard before she sees them else her nagging will start. Hope she doesn't open my cupboard before I put them away. =p
