I'm in the Sino-Singapore Exchange. The Singapore leg of the exchange had just ended and we'll be flying over to China in May. Going to visit a few univerisities and hopefully some sight-seeing. We have to prepare 2 items to perform while we are there and it cannot clash with the items NUS n SMU are performing. Now, I trying to think what is so uniquely Singapore that we can perform. Headache~ But I'm quite satisfied with the flight arrangement. Heard that we are taking Silkair to China and SIA back. I'm impresse and surprises. I expected Air China or something as it is highly subsidized for this 14-days trip.

The exchange to Norway is driving me crazy as well. Especially the air tickets part. Trying to get the lowest fare and trying to understand those stupid agent's industry lingo and also trying to get confirmation from the class is really a hassle! Not that the airfare is very low either. I cannot understand why those travel agents simply don't understand that people outside of their industry will have difficulty understanding them if they always insist on using lingo in their email . And also it doesn't help when I ask a 1-sentence qn and they give me a 10-lines answer which sometimes never answer my qn. And I don't know what they must take so damn long to reply me. Hello! Your commission is involved here you know?? Can you at least let me know you're are checking up the things and ask me to wait? At least I know you're still alive. And in the first place it was the agent who keep hurrying me to confirm as the seats are limited and now take so long don't reply. Pissed.
$1600 for airticket is not cheap can. Faster give me an answer, otherwise I bring all 30 airtickets to another agency and there goes your commission.
I know I am mean but this service is expected of them can! If not I pay ythem agent handling fees for what! ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! pissed.
