In recent years through blogs of friends and people that I do not know I was exposed to many different lives. Blog is really a powerful tool for people to share their daily lives or some thoughts which is not easy to verbalize. I have came to realized how powerful words are and especially how beautiful the Chinese language can be if you are able to use it correctly. A few words can mean so much as compared to English. This is not to say that English is not good but it is just a comparison. I never was interested in Chinese before and find it a torture especially to write in Chinese. How I managed the A2 in Os is pure hardwork or memorising and practise. Now I appreciate what Chinese language can do but still it is not enough to motivate me to *ah-hem* improve my command of this language.
Through blogs I managed to peek into people's lives which are very interesting. Some are people that I absolutely do not know in real life but because I visit their blog regularly it seems like I know them. And some are able to write so well in Chinese. Sometime you might not be able to fully understand the writings but the feel is there. You can think in context. You might not expereince exactly the same thing but you can link with the person's writing. Different blog also uses different blogging styles which are very interesting. Zhe's blog is one which I find interesting writing style and I quote a sentence from her recent entry "为什么大学显得那么寂寞，那么难熬". For this I can only say memories are always the most beautiful and innocence is what makes the difference. The world we live in only gets more complicated as we grow up. We don't get into the complex situations willingly and knowingly all the time. Sometimes it leaves us with no alternatives.
And to end off, I quote from Shu Ting's blog an entry which I find very interesting and true.
"Life's like a stage, you are like the lead actor/actress of your own drama of life. You'll have the choice to choose the next actor/actress, and the supporting actors/actresses. Things you want in your drama, things you do not want in you drama... It's all in the control of your hands. Those who are neither your lead or supporting actors/actresses are just the 'extras' in your drama who just have few appearances in you drama and disappear. Some ' extras' in your drama are planned such they they become your next most important supporting actor/actress in your drama of life.
Everyone has their own perspective and idea of how they want their drama of life to be. Never forgoet all those 'extras' in your life cuz they are the ones who slowly shape how your drama of life is. Ups and dpwns in the drama of life are just to make your drama more interesting, and allows you to learn a lesson at each time of your life.
Never treat anyone in your life as enemies. Everyone are just their own lead actor/actress in their own drama. Everyone is in search of a perfect drama for themselves.
Howeverm the duration of your drama of life is uncontrollable by you. You will never know when you drama will end and how it will end. You never know when your lead or supporting actor/actress, and even the 'extras' will suddenly disappear. Drama of life is unpredictable. Hence, it is important to cherish everyone in your drama of life. No one ever wish to harm anyone. Everyone's just in search of their perfect drama. "
