Today is once again the 7th Day of Lunar New Year. It is "Ren Ri", which means everybody's birthday. But as to why I don't know. Anyway the tradition is to have "Yu Sheng" on this day for prosperity and good luck and everything good. You toss a bunch of vegetable strips and a few slices of fish/abalone. This is the case if you eat outside. But for my family, usually the fish will outshine the vegetables! hahaha...coz we love raw fish.
After work today boss bought Yu Sheng, curry puffs and egg tarts to sort of celebrate la coz it is once again the tradition for the boss to treat the employee or something like that. Though nothing spectacular but it is a nice gesture as we didn't expect him to do that. There are quite a few egg tarts left and all of us were too full to eat it but the boss's wife insisted that we all take some. Everyone manage to 'siam' except for 2 person. I'm one of them. She insisted that I bring back 2. Why 2? Coz apparently I am suppose to be meeting my boyfriend afterwork to go dating. So 1 for me and 1 for him. I was like "???". I go dating? And since when I got boyfriend? She insisted that I have. So ok lo.. I have to bring back 2 for my boyfriend (read: my sister ate them). So my boyfriend is my sister. Now I know.
