Vivo City

Its over. Finally. Everyone seem to step out of some cave after the last paper…or is it only me? We went to Vivo City and yes its my first time there even though it has been opened for a period of time already. I was cooped up in ulu island during school term and only shuttle between school and home. During exams its worse, I won’t even step out of the house except to go for exam. So ya… I was out of my cave yesterday. The air outside ulu island feel so familiar yet so different. Haha… We went to have lunch at Sushi Tei. The food was quite nice but we didn’t order much as it is expensive. I had the Mini Salmon Don.. the rice abit too hard and dryfor my liking. The salmon was ok but I still prefer the one at Amara Hotel.

Then we went to watch “Open Season”. Initially wanted to watch “Happy Feet” but the queue was damn long and tickets are selling fast so no choice watch another movie. The place was so packed that I momemtarily forgot it was a weekday afternoon. Looks like everyone in Singapore is either having school holidays or on leave. Open Season was ok la…. Funny cartoon about the Grizzly Bear. But then I still cannot justify watching a cartoon movie… I mean you don’t need the sound effect or what-so-ever to watch cartoon rite. Then we went to the roof-top to take a look a the water feature but then the sight that behold was such a killer for the scenery coz all we saw are kids playing in the water like that place is a swimming pool. -_-“ Wanted to take some photos but the sun was too strong but it has a nice view of Sentosa. And our ‘career instinct’ kicked in when we saw a few ships docking there. We started to decipher what kind of propeller it used, whether it is rolling, pitching or whatever…ahha! People must thought we are mad. Then off we go to candy land… Candy Empir!!! All of us bought something and I bough 15 bucks worth of chocolates. It is not a lot in terms of qty coz it is expensive. But they are nice la. Bought a few liquor chocolate for my mum too. But I don’t understand why is it nice… the alcohol seems BLEH.

My first week of holidays is already packed with activities… Voluntering at Standard Chartered Marathon, Paint-Ball Session at SDC, BBQ, meetings etc etc
