I just watched the red carpet segment of the Star Awards 2006. I will always make it a point to watch it every year just to see how the actors and actresses will be dressed up. Who get what award is actually secondary as their thank-you speech is usually more or less the same..nothing interesting. Usually their grand entrance at the beginning is a 'wow' factor for the show but this year... it is BLAH.
This year's event is held at St James Power Station and they did the red carpet outdoor style ala the Golden Horse Award style but ours is terribly cannot-make-it. First the carpet is blue not red! Nvm abt that though...but there is no glam factor about the red carpet segment at all!!! And what is heck is Mark Wong talking about anyway?? He is like just rambling on and on....
-_-" And this year's make-up, hair and outfits are such a dissapointment. All the hair are styled in a weird way.. either very flat on the head like dun noe how much hair gel/wax/spray is being used or it is tied is a funny floppy manner. The make-up is either very dark(think gothic) or like there is no make-up... And the outfits are worse! Nothing nice nothing intersting this year. WHY??? So dissapointed. Hope they change into something better later for the award proper.
