Rain rain rain and more rain. It has been raining for the past 48 hours and is still going strong. This resulted in flooding everywhere including mini flood in my home! Coz the heavy rain cause the rainwater to seep in through the window(though it is alr shut) and onto the floor tiles.
And this morning I have to wake up early to go tuition and can you imagine the agony I have to go through? Waking up early when it is best to snuggle in my warm bed. The I had to endure getting myself wet (make it very wet) coz I was wearing 3-4 jeans. I was contemplating between wearing my skirt and freeze my legs or to wear my jeans and fold them up and not freeze my leg. In the end I was wrong..terribly wrong. I should have chosen the skirt for the rainwater would dry off quickly on my leg and so I will not freeze as much as getting my jeans terribly wet and then it not being able to dry the entire day coz it is so cold everywhere la! Then the worst had to be being STUCK in a massive traffic jam for more than an hour!!! I was 1hr late for tuition lor...no choice what can I do. The bus did not move an inch for 45 mins..... and everyone getting quite impatient on the bus knowing they are late but cannot do anything coz of the location of the bus. Stuck along the road that is neither here nor there... just along some forests.
From this incident I think it just shows that Singaporean(incl myself) are so tight up coz no one is able to make the best of the situation to just catch some sleep or reach a book or just relax and wait for the jam to clear. Everyone is like anxiously calling up their offices to inform them that they will be late and then began to worry or complain that they can't do their work. This is just such a local culture right.
