I hate the school network at night! It seems that all hostelites are trying to get online esp after 8pm. If you aren't logged onto msn by that time... can forget about getting online. It is tried and tested. The entire network just slows down and no matter which website you go to it takes forever to load...msn is the worst! You either cannot get in or you get in but in your friend's list you actually is offline! -_-"
Just wanted to come here n grumbled about how little time I have left before its exams! My first paper is on 16th Nov and it is like 2 weeks more..but I don't have 2 weeks for study coz of quizez and assignments that are still hanging in the air. In fact I'm having a quiz tmr for my elective. It is non-examinable so even more impt to do well in quizes and assignments coz I didn't S/U it.But I don't really have faith in the assignment which takes up 30% i tink..coz half of the report is still left hanging. I've been hurrying my group mateseveryday..oh my goodness...this is what you get when you work with ppl that you don't know and don't meet except for once a week in lect. Why can't the lecturer let us choose our own groupmates! oh well... Then next week another quiz on Mon and one assignment due on Tues n Wed respectively.
For this sems I've 5 core modules!! Engineering Probability & Statistics, Shipping Economics, Maritime Technology II, Shipping Strategy and Mathematics II for Maritime Studies. And 5 are all close-book and equally sucky kind... so those with less than 5 papers... DON'T tell me. I'm not interested to know how late/early you'll start/end exams.
I've absolutely no idea how to go about studying for Econs and Strategy coz our tut for these are usually discussions... and the book is damn thick with ALOT of theories and models... you don't expect me to rmb this do you? Even OB is open book..why isn't strategy open book?? Shouldn't the objective be to test our application like OB... and not to test our memory power!? Sigh*
Oh well...looking on the bright side.. I'll have 1 mth hols after exams and I think its time to catch up with alot of friends.. coz I've practically cut-off frm them during sch term.
