Last few days was pure madness. I was utterly exhausted from it. It all started on Wednesday night where I prepare the flyers etc to hand out on voting day on Thurs. I was in school since 10 am on Thur and never left school till 5pm on Saturday and no, I don't have a hall.
I was standing the whole day on Thurs and getting people to vote for me, people who knows me and people who don't know me. At the end of the day my leg hurts like mad even though I'm wearing sandals. Anyway CEE's counting was fast so by 7pm I was informed that I got in as union rep! But then we still need to wait for the results of all other acad clubs and the 3 big clubs. And so we waited and waited till almost 1am before all results are out! EEE and NBS took a loooooong time... Waiting was tiring. Then after that we had a short meeting before I crawled into bed ard 3am. I 'squatted' at Denyse's rm.
Luckily the next day's lesson was at 12.30pm. But then I woke up around 9+ and decided to hop over to the lib to print notes etc... I was trying very hard to keep my eyes open. The 1st council meeting was on Fri evening. And the 16th exco really is a record-breaking exco in all ways... right from nomination day all the way to the formation of the exco. One breakthrough was the 9.5 hours meeting. It started at 8pm and lasted alllllll the way to 5.30pm. Well done man. I don't know how we manage to do it. After a quick shower I plonk onto Denyse's bed at 6am and guess wad! After 6hr of sleep.. we're up again for the exco meeting at 1pm! Pengz! Though 6hrs is considered average but given that we slept in the day instead of the night, the 6 hrs is maybe equivalent to only 2-3 hrs? But we were considerably rested la. The meeting lasted till like 5pm... and finally I get to go home. After dinner I plonked onto my own bed at 8pm and slept all the way till this morning 9am. 13 hours! But it can never make up for the sleep lost.
And I've been working on union stuff till now.... I see my tutorials calling for me... oh no. Next week is yet going to be a looooong week with late nights in sch.. everyday!
