I was reading New Paper when I saw this article on the dinner the world's richest person, Bill Gates, hosted for Mr Hu Jin Tao when the latter visit US. The article mentioned that if anybody need to smoke during the dinner, they will have to step out of the house and head to a smoking pavillion to smoke coz I tink Mr Gates don't fancy cigarette smoke lingering in his mansion.
Bill's (as if he is my friend! aha.. ya I noe him..so do u. coz we're using Microsoft Office. -_-") lodge-style home is a sprawling 60,000 sq ft lakeside mansion. It has 7 bedrooms, SIX kitchens,
24 bathrooms, a domed library, a reception hall and a swimming pool with underwater sound system. Fair enough, all the facilities is his mansion are reasonable but what is with the
6 kitchens and especially the 24 bathrooms!!!??
I mean do u need 6 kitchens?? Unless you tell me there are several families living together but not quite possible coz there are only 7 bedrooms. Maybe one is for Italian
food Cuisin, one is for Chinese Cuisin and another is for Japanese Cuisin etc.
And 24 bathrooms!!?? Even more than the bedrooms and kitchen put together! Maybe each person living there have their own personalized bathroom. Or maybe one is for jacuzzi, another for spa, another for normal bathe etc. Mr Gates, if you have too much money, I suggest you donate 1-hundredth of it to me and I can live
comfortably in grand style for the rest of my life....
And remember the smoking pavillion I mentioned earlier? Apparently it was custom-made for this dinner and is cost US$100 million (S$160 million). WOW! Its alot right! Does Americans have too much money and don't know where to spend them!?
