Whoa! Happy New Year! Welcome to 2006. So just how did I spent the last few hours of year 2005? It is daaaammmmnnnnn "exciting"!!! I spent it in the foodcourt of Cineleisure! How is tat for a start?? I actually met up with Dawn around 2pm to do some shopping at Bugis... But it started to rained.. and after walking around nothing caught my fancy! Arggghhh! Just when I wan to shop.. nothing to buy.. when I dun wan to shop.. everything seem to catch my eye! Shucks... Dawn bought $50+ worth of CDs and a top which she loved so much! ahha... Irene and the guys were meeting in town for dinner so we decided to pop over since Dawn will be meeting her bf for movie in town too. And guess what was their choice of dinner?! Its MacDonalds! How is that for excitment number 2? After that they left for their 8pm movie. So Dawn n I went to Cafe Cartel. Yi Jun & Grace joined us shortly.. after their dinner and my dessert.. Dawn n bf went off for movie.. and not long after Irene & gang came back from theirs..haha!
Their plan was to countdown at Orchard then proceed to pub. Someone promised to drive me home so I agreed to stay with them instead of gg home.. but they wanted to participate in the 'spray foam' thingy... which I absolutely refused to take part! So Yi Jun & I went to "hide" in the food court while the rest armed with 30 cans of foam among them went out to attack everyone! Hahha... It is super super crowded and scary and one guy even witness a foreign 'black-skin' worker taking advantage of the crowd to do some absolutely shameless act! Apparently he sprayed foam at this girl and the natural reaction will be to use your hand to shield your face.. and when the girl did that..the man reach out and grope her breast! What a beast! One of my friend happen to stand near him and thus jab him with his elbow but the man just smiled and walk away.. if he stay a second longer my friend might have punched him! Poor girl... she must be badly traumatised.
Oh..after their foam attack.. we continued to rot at the foodcourt and some were too tired to go to the pub (i'm one of them) so we packed ourselves into 2 car..1 to the pub and 1 back home! I finally got home at 2.30am. My earlier decision to join them for countdown is a bad one... I'm not going to be outside on the eve of New Year, Christmas & Chinese New Year. It is totally packed like sardines!
Anyway...Happy 2006! Hope everything will be better in the coming year! =)
