I was going through some blogs and realized quite a number of people did a re-count of what 2005 was like for them.. so I thought I'll do the same!
Well.. I was having my attachment at an IT company from Jan to April. Life (was there life?) was very stressful every single day. I practically did not get to see the sun when I leave office. Routine was waking up and getting to office by 9am then it is hair tearing time all the way to 6pm(earliest) or after 9pm (usually). Then it is back home for dinner and then sleep. And the rountine repeats itself. That period of time was very torturing.. I'll go to office with a heavy head everyday and leave the office feeling numbed. I'll be so brain dead that I practically was not thinking. But it is also the period of time where I learnt the most within the shortest period of time. Also the time where I experienced the most emotional + mental roller coaster.
Then I was very lucky to be able to work as a temp from May to July for a Japanese company. I learnt alot here as well but I was not stressed at all! Maybe it is because I was just doing admin work and my grades does not depend on it, hence the less pressure. I can safely say that my performance there was reasonably well. At least that is what I felt la.. from the way i was treated and the way they are erm.. surprised at the speed I get work done. =) In between work there is the tedious process of getting admitted into university..then there is the process of deciding which university to accept and then the process of changing course.. then applying for this and that! I applied to SMU & NTU, stating business and maritime as my first choice respectively. But my heart was with NTU. However as I was not from a relevant course NTU offered me Computer Science while SMU offered Business Administration. I was torn! Did not know what to do. I had to wait for my final result slip to be out before appealing at NTU. So mean while I accepted SMU. While waiting for the appeal result I was like pestering the admin office...haha.. calling them up ever so often.. even while at work. And I finally got to where I am today.
Went for Union Camp in July and was in M group! Moggies! A bunch of funny people.. we are the Best OG though we failed to defend the Cheer Fight Champion title. Hopefully the coming M-grp freshies will fight back the title! Then it was my first semester in university. Coming to terms with the different pack of lectures, different environment etc and then taking my first ever exam in uni.
That was my 2005. I can say it was indeed eventful. Seems like 2005 was quite eventful for everyone.. transiting from JC/Poly to the work force then back to Uni.
Then there is
