Had been working for the past week. Actually this temp job came when I least expected it. I went back to the co that I was with b4 uni starts. I was told to call them during the hols to check if they need temps. Though I enjoyed working there, I was hesistant to call initially coz it felt quite funny to juz call n ask for job when I did not contact them at all after I left. So initially I tried to find temp jobs but after 2 wks of fruitless encounters... and when I saw one of my collegue online, I casually asked if they need ppl.. but the manager or rather the vice-president was on leave so she told me to wait for a few days. After a few days I still got no reply. Just when I thot my last hope was dashed and was preparing to rot for the next 2 wks or so... I got a sms telling me I'm needed for 3 days! I only need to help print Christmas cards.. haha.. easy job and pay is reasonable. After 3 days just when I thot I am unemployed again and when i lost my hp, I'm told that I am wanted for another 1 week! Whoa! I realli need that week's salary to get a new hp...Last fri was my last wk... and I was told to stay on for another 1 wk! Geez.. I was blessed. Though I get the mundane job of addressing Christmas cards and doing the tons of filing... I actually enjoy going to work coz the hours seem short.. I end at 5.30pm sharp! And I got funny collegues who will keep me entertained! Plus occassionally there is the free lunch and tea thrown in!

Ms Cheng n I have signed up to be buddy to exchange students to our uni. These students come from France n Germany! Whoa! France... romantic guys..whahah.. dun worry I've no intention of getting a ang-moh bf.....*bleah*. To disgress abit, one of my classmate have a few French guys living 1 level down in her hall.. n she say they always play the guitar n sing love song.. so she always purposly walk past their room..haha! Ok, back to the exchange thingy. Basically they will spent 1 semester here and we are suppose to help them adapt to sg life la.. help them find their way ard sg and ard sch... hopefully we can communicate with them! ahah..though they noe english..but with their accent there might be some difficulty..n hopefully they dun ask me abt our history or I'll be stumped. But I've on hand a guide to all kinds of museums...so if dey asked..i'll bring them to the proper museum..whaha! So excited!
