Just got back from my annual dentist appointment for my teeth... so far so good. My teeth are still nice and straight (it better be after spending the few thousands for braces...lolz). So my dentist wanted me to keep wearing my retainer during night time to ensure my teeth stay straight. Btw, my dentist got promoted coz his title used to be 'Registra' but now is 'Consultant'.... and along with his promotion, my consultation fees got promoted too...lolz! I tink tat's the reason for the increase... otherwise it will be tat the government raised the fee..tink the former makes more sense. Anyway, my lower right wisdom tooth wriggled its way out, much to my dismay, not long ago. The pain was killing me then. My dentist showed me my X-ray and it shows that I've got 4 wisdom teeth.. and the lower right is out, the lower left is coming out soon too... and they are not growing straight (used to be straight.. but somehow it alter is path now).. and I need to remove it by operation. Yikes!!! But it is not urgent... so I can still wait till it start to really affect me... The procedure is something like lifting up the gums and removing the teeth.. (sounds like playing with lego -_-""). Imagine the pain and the cost! Gosh! Even if I were to do the operation..it will have to be during hols.. else I die of pain.. feed on porridge everyday.
Ms Cheng, Xiao Wei and I went to West Mall yest for Sushi!! Yum Yum... As usual I was a kultz witht the online menu.. and ended up ordering what ms cheng dun wan and not ordering what she wanted...lolz! Then on our way back to hall we took lots of pic...in the mrt and at the mrt station.. with so many ppl looking... That 2 siao girls keep wanting to make their faces look SMALLER and so insisted that I mus stand infront...nearer to the camera so tat my face is BIG n theirs are small... goodness.... after many many failed attempts..we managed to take some decent ones.. but all of it is so obvious tat they are standing so far back..lolz!

Oh ya... yest I was amazed to discover one of my committee memebers is only 17 yrs. Imagine a 17 yrs old student in university... goodness. Of course he is a foreign student, Phillipines to be exact. Not only is he good academically, he has a good business sense too. Compare our 17 yrs old guys with him... those guys can go dig a hole and bury themselves. The way he present his ideas, the way he carry himself does not reveal his age at all. On top of that, he attened university in Philippines at the age of 15 (Biomiolecular) ... after 1 yr, he came to Singapore for the better education system. So people, pls dun tink of Phillipino maid whenever you think of Phillipines! There is another Phillipines gal studying in school of biological sciences here... she is only 15 yrs but she has plan her future already. After graduating she plan to do her Masters in Singapore then go one to work and then go to a university in Tokyo for her PHD. Goodness... how many of you at the age of 15 thought of all this? I didn't, not even now! This is where we lose out to the foreign talents. They are very focused and have their future all planned out before them. They work towards their goal. Though I do plan.. but never so far-sighted.
If you think you are very stressed in sec sch, jc/poly now... let me tell you... those are nothing compared to here at university. This is where all the brains from all over the world competing against one another. If you think I am hardworking, you are wrong. The hardworking-ness (if there is such a word) of the students here are terrible... Mugging all day and night...even when sch just start. When it is near the exams like now..it is worse. You see people studying at 7+ am... you see ppl studying at 1+am.... Sure the activities are fun here... but the school work are equally fun.. and normally those very good students excel in both areas. I take my hats off them... Guess the only way to keep up is to work hard... but no I wun study day and night.. I will pengz...
