Well, I was chatting with this fren on msn when she asked how's life in ntu. As usual I will have my complaints... about the fast pace and that the assignements come and go like nobody business..hahaz...but all these are just my grumblings... Juz bear with me n it will be over soon. Nobody enjoys doing so many things rite... unless you're a workaholic. I told her some of the activities I am involved in... so to date I am in ICFF main com, UOC main com and Hall D&D Sub-com... ok la.. I tink I can cope with all these since I make sure they do not clash with one another, in fact it is more like a continuing sequence. My fren commented that perhaps I should not join such activities n just concentrate on my studies.. but that is not my style.
I am always involved in one thing or another since primary school. For primary school I was a student councillor, a buddy reader and in social-studies club (gods know y i join tat! ahahz). In secondary school I was in the student leader board, the school press club and also my beloved npcc. In fact npcc took up a large chunk of my time n i remembered our batch for being involved in the trainings till the O'lvls got very near. In poly, I continued to serve in npcc and I was involved in the freshmen orientation, school open house etc. So I see no reason why I should not continue to be active in school activites in ntu. My mum always say I am a 'kaypo' so I spend so much time in school... but then if you were to tink back... you will only remember the activities you did and not so much the studying part. Would you remember how tough it was to prepare for a particular event or would you remember what it is like to be in physics class? Surely the former rite. Sure my results are far from the perfect straight As but I did not and will not in anyway sacrifice my grades so I always ensure that I only take on the amount I can cope with.
In fact I did not continue to serve in npcc after poly was because I wanted to try other things. I want to try working with people that does not involve too much ranks. In npcc it is always the case of I say you do. If you nv do it properly I scold.. yes I will scream at you.. but it is not possible to do tat out of npcc rite..coz i am not their CI. So to conclude, it does not justify my personality to just do nothing besides studying.
Time to sleep... in fact I hope to get to the lib tmr... to borrow some storybooks.. I have been deprived from reading storybooks for a long time....
