First 'bookout' since I shifted in to hostel last week. The week had past by so fast! Wake up, rush here n there, go back to hall, do some stuff, sleep and the cycle repeats itself again. Is this the kind of uni life I wan? Noooo! I dun wan. But my hall seems rather dead. Other hall have wad outing lah, welcome day, bbq, supper etc etc but my hall?? Not even a single sound regarding the upcoming Inter-Block Games (IBG). I saw a notice bt IBG on Hall 15's noticeboard but all that I see on Hall 14's noticeboard are the pictures of the committee. Can someone reassure me that there are actually people living in Hall 14? Or rather in my block?
X.Wei and I together with a few of my OG ppl went to Ikea to get some more stuff for our rooms. We got a round carpet each to put under our chair but it turned out to be too small! In fact it is juz slightly smaller... omg! We nearly fainted when we realize it is too small..haha..but no choice, we juz haf to throw that in a corner and let ppl sit on it.. (if anyone wans to sit, that is). Reached home rd 8+ on Friday. Waited for cab for soooo long and I concluded that no cab is gg to come into my hall area so I called for can. So after looooong wait the cab finally arrived and I am on my way home! It cost me $11 + $4(on call) to get back home! After having dinner then I plonked down on bed n go to find Zhou Gong.
Well...Sat was spent sleeping and printing notes! It is terrible...the amt of paper n ink I haf to spent on printing. Then went for lunch. Intended to go swimming but it began to drizzle so went shopping with Mum at Causeway Pt instead. Then back home for dinner and then TV time! I have not watch TV for 1 whole week... Tink I haf to get used to no tv from now on. No time for TV. Was suppose to go to Zouk to attend the pagent for Miss NTU. But I didn't go. It is juz not my kind of place la. Its very tiring to stand there n watch u know. I dun drink, I dun dance. I can juz sit/stand there n watch so decided not to go. In fact I tink that place will be quite smoky so I wun wan to be there too. I went to Gopthem Penthouse at Clarke Quay last Tues. That place is not bad, not smoky but still not the kind of place I would frequent if not for the pagent. I heard from those who went that the Miss NTU is infact Miss NTUSU Freshie (the winner at the Gopthem Penthouse pagent).
I was kept awake preparing questions for my tuition kid till 1am! Nearly died on my study table. But I did not have the luxury of sleeping late on Sunday morning. Mum woke me up (by tickling my feet! -_-"') at 9am to go to the market with her! Hiaz... dragged my lazy body out of bed. But I got some 'shou huo' la... I got a pkt of oreo, a pkt of mentos, a box of chocolate cake and Mum add in 'Pi Pa Gao'. I wanted to get fresh milk and fruit juice but then the fridge will only come tonite and I heard from my friends who haf alr gotten it that the person will ask u to plug in the fridge only 1 hr after delivery..dun noe for wad reason. So my juice will haf to wait till next week. I am having a headache now... tink it is the lack of sleep for the past week. Attempted some Math tutorial qns juz now but I only can do 1 qn. I am stuck on the 2nd qn so I gave up and went to watch TV instead. Ok, shall go n pack bag for my return to camp tonite. Got 2359 rule u know... hahah..like real!
