Back from Camp!

Yoz peeps! I'm back from Union Orientation Camp (UOC)! Did u miss me? muahaha... It had been a tiring but fun 6 days 5 nights! Oh ya I survived.. I didn't roll down the stairs..though I nearly sprain my ankle when I slip on the few steps in the home. Alright, back track on what I have done during the camp!

Day 1: Meet up with the group ard 10.30am (first time camp so late meet up! already used to meeting like 6-7 am!). Proceeded to have brunch at MacDonalds with my groupmates + seniors. After that we had some ice-breakers in sch. Then we learnt some cheers and then proceed to put our belongings in our room. After which we are supposed to change into a set of 'can-be-thrown' clothes, which literally means we will get dirty! Was rolling here n dere and getting buckets of water being poured on us! We had the usual of squeezing the whole group into a piece of paper but the difference is that the guys lifted the girls on their schoulder to save space. After which there are several more games that required the guys to carry the gals. I pity them... should must be aching like mad! We had to pass certain food items with our mouth. Started with a piece of banana.. the banana was like practically slipping into a person's mouth and out and then to the next person... it is so disgusting! We had to go several rounds to challenge the records done by previous groups. The worse would cartainly be passing the raisin. It is sooooooo small... tell me how to pass it without touching the other person's lips? But the most memorable event for the day would certainly be the 'police n thief' game. Was suppose to run ard sch to find answers but we have to be aware of police holding paint sponges n brooms. Practically took the breathe out of me man! Then I left for home as I have graduation the next day.

Day2: As I had my graduation ceremony (pictures later) in the morning, I returned to the camp ard 4pm. The moment I reached I was blindfolded and was told to talk to a guy. It is the SP thingsy. SP = Secret Pal. We are paired up randomly and we are suppose to be SP... but my SP is absolutely disappointing! As me for details in person... if I were to type I would have to type alot! Then we had Fright Night ard 2am! The toilet station is damn freaking! Imagine having 2-3 ghosts in the confined area and the toilet is totally dark lor! I was screaming my heads off... although I had help MF with the planning of it as well as the costume...I was still scared, especially when is move towards me! Den a senior decided to scare us (or rather me only, the suay one) even further by pulling my leg when I stepped out of the toilet feeling very relieved that the station is done. I gave a yelp and then went to smack the senior's arm. whahah... So sorry...naturally reaction.

Day3: Mud day! Imagine being sprayed and poured concentrated mud water for the whole morning! The mud was very smelly and absolutely disguating! Ekkkss... I had to scrub myself twice and the smell still lingers for a while. I was quite badly burnt at the end of the few hours under the sun! Then it is time for Mama-san and SP nite. As usual, want to know anything abt SP...ask me personally. -_-"

Day4: Sentosa day! Went to Sentosa early in the morning for beach games! Another scorching day under the sun! Although I put on sun block ranging from SPF 30 - SPF 130 throughout the day, I was still burnt! In the end I had 2 tan lines... My usual one + the new one! I was a red lobster!~ But the beach games were fun lah...and we made a major discovery for our group. We cannot hold flat objects like frisbees but we can hold round objects like ball and papaya very well! Hahha... coz we were lost whenever it is a flat obj we had to deal with but we thrashed the opponent during a captain ball session where balloons and papaya was used. Our 'papaya-man' was very impressive with his catching skills that left us speechless....ahah!

Day5: Amazing race! The most fun event of the whole camp! We had to hunt for our clues and then finish the task before getting the next clue to our checkpoint. The team morale only got higher and higher as the game proceed. The most 'er-xin' task is to finish some foodstuff like 1 bot of chilli sauce, 5 pkts of instant noodles, 1 bot of thousand island suace, 5 small cups of wasabi, 5 bot of ginger beer, dried pork liver paste and the most disgusting of all...5 bot of Baby Food (Peas & Carrot)! Yucks!!!!!! I nearly puke when I force a few mouth of the baby food into my mouth (no wonder baby like to spit our their food!). And of all places we had to do this at Cityhall area...imagine those ppl walking ard! They must have thought we are crazy...hahah. Another tasks was to find the location of 10 photos shown to us and take a picture there. It was absolutely hilarious! We didn't know that we were running ard so fast till our programmer surrendered! He gave us some hints and told us to walk...not run..coz he no strength to chase after us! ahhaa... Thinking back... those seniors are realli so ke lian...chasing us behind...haha!
When we view the photos taken and look at the timing below it...we had a shock. coz each pic haf an interval of only ard 2-5 mins! hahaha...and it is all take at diff locations ard cityhall area
! We were thre last group to leave at the starting pt but all thanks to our adrealine rush, we zipped in n out of the crowd and managed to get to end pt 2nd! Then we had our cheer fight in the night. Though we shouted ourselves hoarse we did not get into the final round. We were all quite sad and disappointed coz our seniors and pin alot of hopes on us as we had been the Cheer Fight defending champion for the past 4 consecutive years! Den we had BBQ but unfortunately it started to rain when we are starting the fire and it is alr past midnight so we ended up microwaving the food! I was struggling to stay awake coz only haf on avg 3 hrs of sleep for the past 4 nights... I finally conk out ard 3 am and I was rudely awaken ard 5am by ice-cold water! All thanks to dun noe wad kind of silly tradition to do that to freshies who dun stay awake ont he last night. They first lowered the air-con to 16 degrees, on the fan and stole our blankets! And then they splash ice water on us! I kena alot lor...I screamed and jump up immediately! I was hopping ard...shivering like mad looking for the remote control to off the air-con. For the brieft few seconds...it was chaotic then we realized that some thing is wrong coz those sleeping next door were not in their room. We thought they had been brought to some where but it turn out that they were hiding in the other room coz they were the culprits for the ice-water!

What a long entry...Overall the camp was fun!!! M groups is the best! We won the Best Union Group for this camp! So at least we won something in ex-change for the lost of the cheer fight champion. [Pics will be uploaded when I get them]
