Official Announcement

Official Announcement:

After much swaying between NTU & SMU, after much e-mail correspondences between the two universities... I'm now officially a student at NTU. Officially an undergrad as of 25 July 2005! I am feeling abit aprehensive and excited now! Hee~ Guess that is always the feeling when one have to step out of the comfort zone into something totally new! Yes..for my case, it is totally new!

Looking back now, three years ago around this time I am also getting ready to start poly life. Feeling even more jittery back then coz of the transistion from secondary sch to poly is much larger as compared to poly to uni. Back then being young n rather ignorant, getting into Ngee Ann's big campus was a big 'wow' itself. I still remembered thinking that I would get myself lost in the campus, after now, after 3 years...nah.. yes Ngee Ann is big but not that big after all. Now I've to worry about getting lost in an even bigger campus...haha! Why must I always get lost in some place? Actually I'm not so worried abt getting lost now, maybe I'll take sometime to find the place but surely not impossible. Morever I've quite a handful of secondary sch friends there..though there is like only 1 (yes pathetic 1) who I tink I will call for help..hahah! *hint hint*

Feeling excited about getting used to the new environment, getting into the pace of the new course, getting to know more friends. I hope my to-be new friends will not give me a scare on day 1. I remember vividly my first day of orientation for poly. I was still thinking to myself "Why does all these people look for scary..."hahahah! Ya, I was rather afraid of Dawn then coz she was the earliest there and she sat alone, dressed quite like ah-lian and look quite fierce too! hahah... She find it very funny that I was afraid of her when I told her about it when we know each other better.

Well well...I guess all these are just part of life. We have to go through the same things at every stage and the next four years might be the last of my study life and possibly the last 4 'innocent' years before facing the corporate world. Office politics... Sarcastic remarks... ahhhh! All this kinda shit... I've seen my fair share in my temp job. Imgaine that for the next 20 years...headache!
