Oh well...where should I start? Guess I should start wif the eventful night that I had on Friday. It was really a mark in history. I have never step into (pass by yes, go in no) that kinda place before. Reasons? Coz I'm a homly girl (dun start laughing! its not a crime to be homly) mauahaha! I dun like to be outside at night unless I am like at a chalet or a camp lah. Walking around after 9 is pure torture.... Its more comfortable to be lying on the sofa watching tv. Another reason is that I am alcohol intolerant and smok intolerant (perhaps not as bad as the alcohol part). Despite all these, I step into one such place on fri all b'coz of 1 person! Xie Nanying, u betta be glad I gave u face lor....lolz.
Aniwae that place is totally as I have imagined it to be and as depicted in tv shows. But I guess I agreed initially coz miss bong distorted the facts a little to make me believe that the place is actually not that bad! She told me that the crowd there is older so not as messy as other places and there is a big screen showing wad Channel News Asia... so I stupidly (ok lah, is naive!) believed that ppl actually go there to like drink n juz chat... minus all those loud music n the lights. Actually that place is ok, the ppl dun look tat bad, the music is not that irritating (juz tat haf to shout urself hoarse to be heard) but the BIG MINUS POINT is the smoke! Yucks!!!!! My sensitive nose start to get irritated when we first stepped in...but after a while when a person starts to light up...I had difficulty breathing!
Back to the night... the 3 of them ordered drinks and when the bill came it is like $82 for 3 drinks.. which we nearly fainted. Coz we dun noe the price and tat dum + irritatin waiter did not tell us the price and yet he recommended something so yucky! I didn't try... but judging frm the way ms bong vomitted everything out while in the cab + the stinko smell...it couldn't have tasted any better. Anyway it was called 'Frustration' (we initially thot we heard Illusion), it cost 36 bucks which realli makes us frustrated! ahhaa....abit like kena cheated like tat! Luckily the cab driver didn't throw us outta the cab when she starts to puke.
That will be the first and last time I will step into tat place. I juz dun understand how can one chill out in tat kinda place. I felt more frustrated (no pun intended) in tat place.
