hi ppl! After vanishing for abt 10 daes I've decided to make a short appearance in case
someone thot tat I'm dead or smthing. lolX I'm fine n veri much alive...perhaps growing fat ooPs! Let me see... the hols is left wif abt 1 mk and 6 days! So far I've onli been able to get that market research (aka better known as tele-survey) on weekends. Initially thot of workign on wkdays too btu decided against it afetr working for the past 2 wkends. It can get rather demoralizing esp when u fail to meet their requirement. Though there is no quota to hit, the supervisor keep rushing me to hurry up n emphaize tat the avg if abt 16 calls/hr. Hello!?? Tis is in another way a quota oso! I'm trying veri hard to call n call and yes I did call a few hundreds ppl but onli 1-hird of dem picked up the phone and out of tis, onli 2-third agree to ans my qns. So sickening...u get all sorts of ppl and dere are some truly nasty ones man! Some uncle n auntie cannot understand english and dey shout at me. "WO BU HUI TING YING WEN LAH!" *POOM* the phone is den being slam down. Some worse still... "WHY SHOULD I ANSWER U!" hey, c'mon I'm juz doing my job n I start by asking if u could spare me a min to ans.. if u dun wan u can juz say no rite? So sarcastic! And mind u these sarcastic ppl are those who are more educated ones... tis is wat they do. So sickening...
At one pt, I've onli got 30 person after 5 hrs of dialing... avg 6/hr... so far frm the normal avg of 16/hr. I was so frustrated yet dey keep rushing u as if I'm skiving...realli feel like slamming the door n walk off. Tink it is a matter of time b4 I get crazy.... wan to quit but cannot coz the contract state tat 15 working days notice muz be given to resign. N the working days does not mean mon-fri but rather it meant the days tat I work. Since I work onli weekends...it means to quit I;ve to give 2 mths notice!! kaoz... Going to do notify tat person next wk n endure till end Aug to quit. *Pray tat I dun get insane b4 tat* But I'm oso quite afraid of how dey will treat me after telling dem I wan to quit coz my collegue told me tat she once saw another girl being chase out after tendering the resignation letter. haiz...
Watever.... tmr going to call up MOM to check if tat stupid 15 "working days" rule apply...
On a lighter note, I saw our dear Ms Phua or rather Mrs Lee n her husband at Far East Plaza. Shopping i tink.... dear ms phua as usual in her pretty dress but dear mr lee in a t-shirt n bermudas...tiaoz! hahah... wat to do...married man are always like tat..juz look at our fathers!
Off to watch TV (I've earn the nickname TV Queen for tis hols)...
