++ CHANGI NAVAL BASE OPEN HOUSE ++
Saturday, May 29, 12pm to 9pm
Sunday, May 30, 10am to 6pm

A realli realli leg breaking visit!! 1.5 hours of viewing and 2-3 hrs of queueing... my leg was wobbly n aching when I finally board the mrt to head home!! Has to STAND all the way there in the MRT den haf to queue tis superly long queue to take the shuttle bus (but it is moving fast, so is better than the queue when going home) @ Singapore Expo. There were Navy ppl to direct us to the shuttle service, heard tat 50 shuttle buses were shuttling to and fro yet the queue was like never ending esp when the MRT arrive with a whole busload (or rather MRTload) of ppl.

Went ard to look at the exhibits and took photos with the missile, RSS Persistence and other dun-noe-the-name vessel. Wanted to head onboard RSS Persistence but the queue was super long and the sky was threatening to rain so the officers close the ship for visit. *sad* Den look ard for officers to take photos with. SPOTTED quite a few smart smart looking officers in their white uniform and SHE went crazy!! ahhah... Want to take pic with that quite shuai + smart looking officer but scared...but after a few pushing + scoldings from me..she finally went forward to asked. ahaha!! bet SHE will enlarge that photo to 8R to paste on her wall... den went on to take pic with a female officer, pretty and tan tan looking...nice.

The misery happend when it was time to go home. Wanted to leave but was held back inside for like 1hr! Nearly die of suffocation there. There was simply too many ppl and the queue for the shuttle service back to Expo was like 500m away and yet the queue ended just outside the naval base. The army guys haf no choice but to prevent anyone from leaving (even if we can leave still will end up stuck outside on the roads) for safety reasons. But a few kiasu singaporeans forced their way thru by manually pushing up the barrier (the kind in those carparks) to get out. The army guys therefore closed the metal gate partialluy (it look as though we are in prison, cut off frm outside world). BUT some ppl still squeeze their way thru man! and thus the gate is SHUT completely. When that happens, the uncles start to shout their broken english at the army guys. "Open lah!", "U think I in prison huh!", "Oie..open, here got children!", "Bloody fools". OMG~ We were utterly embarrassed to be standing among them, with quite a number of tourists there too. I mean, c'mon, I noe it is veri hot and I want to get out too but dey want us to get out too but the situation doesn't allow and what you can do it to conserve energy by not shouting all these at the army guys. What is the use of shouting at them? You still wun be going out and will only add on to the frustration of others, esp with your broken english!! kaoz.... the ppl realli super kiasu, cannot get out liao still keep pushing n pushin until you can move your body. there is 1 idiotic person who keep stepping on my sandals while walking but the worse thing was that she doesn't realize that. She stepped on me n I nearly fall backwards. I turn n look at her. Thot she will noe that she is stepping on me...so took another step forward n I was "bounced" back again coz she still STEPPING on me! I turn to look at her again n tat girl look at me as though I'm so idiot who suddely stop in the middle of the pavement. "Hey, you stepping on me still expect me to move??" After these it is a 500m walk to board the bus, den stand all the way back home on the MRT....

Leg needs a Break!
